An artwork charge normally applies to all orders unless you send your entire imprint in an acceptable electronic file. If you require only a small change in artwork — such as adding a website address or phone number — we will be glad to handle that at no charge. If you require a more complicated artwork change, a fee may apply. Complicated artwork may require an additional fee.
The setup charge is a fee charged by the manufacturer and involves preparing a plate and the other necessary steps to get your job on the press. This fee normally is $35 to $75 – depending upon the vendor and/or type of product. Some of our vendors do not charge a setup charge. A set-up charge may also apply to repeat orders, but often the fee is reduced.
For almost all jobs, your art files should be in a “vector” format (.eps file) – preferably created in Adobe Illustrator. All images and text should be converted to “outlines.” If you have hired a professional graphics person to create your logo, it would have been created as an .eps file. You can always check with your printer for this file format. Unless you have Adobe Illustrator, you probably will not be able to open the file on your computer. That’s OK. You can send it to us, and we will furnish you with a proof.
If your project is for embroidery, we can use a .jpg or .tiff file. If your project is a “digital” job (such as printing), a .jpg or .tiff file will usually work.
We provide a digital PDF proof for every order that will show the product colors and logo art size and placement. These free proofs show you all the things you need to approve your order for production.
We understand that sometimes a physical ‘printed production sample’ is required for your project. Please note that a print run of 1 item can be expensive. You will be charged at cost (as applicable) to produce each physical sample.
Promotional products are usually imprinted with a company's name, logo, or message and distributed free as part of marketing and communication programs to increase brand awareness among consumers. Business gifts, awards and commemoratives are also considered promotional products.
Premiums are high-quality promotional items, often popular name brands at a higher cost, that exude luxury and are geared to leave a lasting impression on recipients. They portray a positive image that a company is generous in rewarding their top customers. Imprinted items given as an incentive for a specific action are also known as premiums.
